Made from farm-grown Brazilian pine, the wood is kiln-dried to prevent splitting, cracking, and size distortion, ensuring long-lasting stability.

Palace Imports manufactures furniture exclusively from 100% solid wood. Solid wood is an exceptional material, valued for its aesthetic appeal, durability, and ease of repair. As a natural product, it possesses unique physical characteristics that make each piece one of a kind, often displaying slight imperfections.

These imperfections are especially noticeable in the raised panel doors, which are assembled from five parts. They are designed with tolerances to accommodate the natural expansion and contraction of solid wood in response to seasonal changes in temperature and humidity, thereby preventing cracking. This tolerance can appear as a slight gap between the panel and the frame.

Paint also expands and contracts, but at a different rate than the wood, which can make these gaps appear more pronounced.
